"The Archbishop of Canterbury has long been an Honorary President of Clergy Support Trust, alongside others. Following Archbishop Justin's resignation, he and his family are in our prayers. Survivors of abuse, who are among those supported by Clergy Support Trust, are similarly at the heart of our prayers at this time, as are all those in clergy households affected in different ways by the last few days."

"The Trust’s support services, which include access to independent counsellors with knowledge of the Church, are available to clergy households who may be struggling with the trauma of abuse, or who have been affected by past or recent events. Please contact our team if there is anything we can do to walk alongside you and your family at this time, and as we all re-commit ourselves to building a safer Church for everyone."

The Revd Ben Cahill-Nicholls
Chief Executive, Clergy Support Trust
